Some windows suit a Roman better than a curtain, especially sash-style windows, study's and rooms where the space below the window is limited. Whilst anything is possible, Romans are not recommended for sliding doors or large windows. Soft Romans unlike hard canvas Romans can be made from almost any fabric and therefore the sky is the limit with choice of colour.
